Felipe Cardeña - The Artists’ Biography

Born in 1979, Felipe Cardeña is a mysterious street artist. 

He has been described as an "enigmatic artist in the vein of Banksy," an artist who keeps his true identity concealed from most.
In contrast to his anonymity, his works are widely recognized. His artistic creations primarily blend elements of pop culture with vibrant flowers.

After participating in various exhibitions such as Vade Retro (curated by Vittorio Sgarbi and Eugenio Viola) and Street Art Sweet Art in Milan, Cardeña embarked on his first major project in late 2007: Power Flower. This project provides an opportunity to explore colors, delve into their nuances, and experiment with combinations.

Felipe Cardena's Works and the Power Flower Universe

The subjects in the Power Flower project range from ancient Greek statues to comic book characters and pop icons like superheroes and pin-up girls. A common feature in the artist's works is the presence of bright backgrounds.

This large-scale, ever-evolving collage consists of numerous vivid images derived from a shared imagination.
Felipe Cardena's art is rooted in nonconformity, as evidenced by his recurrent use of floral elements in his works. Flowers are a recurring motif in all his vibrant pieces, symbolizing the beauty and harmony of nature, life, and the world.
