The artwork by Felipe Cardeña, Spiderman Reloaded is a screenprint on paper in a limited edition of 100 pieces, hand-signed and numbered by the artist.

Spiderman is the perfect symbol of the secret, crazy, eccentric soul, but also generous, altruistic, eager for beauty and justice that hides in the depths of our unconscious, behind the banality of our daily behavior. It is the beauty of the out-of-control gesture, of the happiness of getting out of the box, of getting rid of one's original identity, in a universe no longer governed by the rules, constraints and needs of every day. Spiderman Reload is the incarnation of the daily superhero that exists in each of us, who with his effervescence and freedom builds his ideal universe, where everything is happily mixed and superimposed, without any hierarchy or limits. Flowers, fruits, colors, pop icons, advertising images, cartoons, slogans, decorations: hierarchies are skipped, borders eliminated, the boundary between truth and fiction surpassed, fluidized reality. The Internet, with its infinite possibilities of concealment and creation of multiple identities, at the same time all false and all equally true, provides each of us with the means to rebuild as we please, becoming superheroes in our turn. Felipe Cardeña - The Artists’ Biography

Born in 1979, Felipe Cardeña is a mysterious street artist.

He has been described as an "enigmatic artist in the vein of Banksy," an artist who keeps his true identity concealed from most.
In contrast to his anonymity, his works are widely recognized. His artistic creations primarily blend elements of pop culture with vibrant flowers.

After participating in various exhibitions such as Vade Retro (curated by Vittorio Sgarbi and Eugenio Viola) and Street Art Sweet Art in Milan, Cardeña embarked on his first major project in late 2007: Power Flower. This project provides an opportunity to explore colors, delve into their nuances, and experiment with combinations.

The subjects in the Power Flower project range from ancient Greek statues to comic book characters and pop icons like superheroes and pin-up girls. A common feature in the artist's works is the presence of bright backgrounds.

This large-scale, ever-evolving collage consists of numerous vivid images derived from a shared imagination.
Felipe Cardena's art is rooted in nonconformity, as evidenced by his recurrent use of floral elements in his works. Flowers are a recurring motif in all his vibrant pieces, symbolizing the beauty and harmony of nature, life, and the world.

The joyful and positive aesthetic of the Spanish artist describes flowers as wonderful models upon which to build the creative geography of his universe. The almost obsessive abundance of flowers in his works makes him unique, eccentric, and even quirky.
